We are proud to announce that the 5th Cow Harbor Warrior Weekend will take place this September as a one day event on September 9th 2017. The one day event will comprise of the following: In addition to the festivities of Cow Harbor Warrior Weekend, the organization is again planning a series of local community events throughout the year that are aimed at raising funds and awareness that will help support the weekend, as well as the organizations we have partnered with to help advance the recovery and wellbeing of wounded veterans and veterans in need. Last year in 2016, with your help and support, Cow Harbor Warriors donated close to $47,000 in total to our troops overseas, the Semper Fi Fund, Paws of War, and the Northport VA Medical Center- privately funded programs that help advance veterans in need Following the same strategy as 2016, Cow Harbor Warriors will look to local vendors and businesses to support and participate in all aspects of the weekend and additional 2017 community events. The purpose of sponsorship is to help Cow Harbor Warriors advance its not-for-profit mission to honor and help empower post 9/11 veterans who are in need and who have suffered injuries, by donating funds to organizations that help advance their recovery and wellbeing.
Any money raised which is not needed for the Warrior Weekend and awareness (and future veteran’s events) will be donated to the following veteran’s organization:

Paws of War https://pawsofwar.org/

This year our efforts are solely to help fund as many service dogs to local wounded veterans as possible. Paws of War trains and places rescued dogs to serve and provide independence to our United States military veterans who suffer the emotional effects of war. They work to provide independence to these military veterans. Most of their rescued dogs have been abandoned at shelters through no fault of their own. Every dog is trained for a specific veteran to fulfill his or her needs. Some veterans affected by PTSD need a sense of protection and security that only a service dog can provide. All training and initial veterinary costs are absorbed by Paws of War. Their motto: Helping both ends of the leash!

In appreciation of your support, we have arranged for your company/organization to receive significant recognition based on sponsorship level.
